Colombian Spanish has no th sound: z and soft c sound like s, so caza and casa sound the same. There is no vosotros either, so address a group as ustedes. Choose these voices when the listener is in Colombia, for example a bank phone line or staff training.

Usted goes further in Colombia than in most countries. In Bogotá people say usted to friends and even children, so it sounds warm, not stiff. Around Medellín, vos is common in casual talk. For a brand, usted is the safe default. Save vos for a script meant to sound paisa.

Local words make a script sound Colombian. A tinto is a small black coffee, not red wine as in Spain. Shop staff say a la orden, friends greet each other with ¿qué más?, and something good is chévere or bacano. Keep the accent marks on Bogotá, Cúcuta and Zipaquirá, because they show where the stress falls. If a regional name like Guatapé is misread, add it to the pronunciation dictionary.
