“In the biggest languages, the voices sound nearly human.”

“…an impressive natural-like array of voices and great customer support.”

American spelling drops the u in color and honor, ends verbs in -ize, and writes center, theater and gray. Dates run month first, so 7/4 is July 4 in the US and 7 April in most other places. When the script is for an international audience, write the date in words.
Some US place names do not sound the way they look. Arkansas ends like "saw", Des Moines drops both s sounds, and Worcester, Massachusetts, is said "wooster". Native American names such as Puyallup or Natchitoches catch voices out too. Preview them and fix any wrong reading in the pronunciation dictionary.
Americans usually say "two hundred fifty" where a Briton says "two hundred and fifty", so write large numbers as words when the rhythm matters. US promo copy tends to run more upbeat than British copy, and listeners accept energy in ads and explainers. Try the Emotional voices with the Happy preset for a launch video, or Serious for a safety message.

It is the broad accent heard on US national news and in most Hollywood films, without strong Southern, New York or Boston features. Many speakers from the Midwest and the West Coast sound close to it. It is the safe choice for a nationwide or international audience, while a regional accent suits a character or a local ad.
For a US audience, pick an American voice. Canadians hear American English every day, so it works there as well, but a Canadian voice suits a message that should feel local, such as a provincial campaign. The two accents differ in a few vowels and words, and Canadians keep the u in colour.
