“In the biggest languages, the voices sound nearly human.”

“…an impressive natural-like array of voices and great customer support.”

These voices speak the Castilian Spanish of Spain. Listeners will hear the distinción: the z in zapato and the c in cielo sound like the English th, while s keeps its own sound. Scripts written for Spain also use vosotros for the plural you. For a Latin American or US audience, start from a dialect page below.
Written accents carry meaning in Spanish. Sí is yes and si is if; él is he and el is the; está is a verb and esta means this. Accents also mark stress, so papa (potato) and papá (dad) are said differently. Open each question with ¿ and each exclamation with ¡, as Spanish print does, then preview the line to hear the tone.
Spain writes large numbers with a point or a space, as in 25.000, and uses a comma for decimals, so 2,5 is two and a half. Dates go day first: 12 de octubre. English words such as streaming or a brand name are worth a listen, and the pronunciation dictionary can fix how one is read. Use tú for most ads and social posts, and usted for banks, health and formal notices.

Spain. The voices on this page use the accent of Spain, including the th sound for z and soft c, and vosotros for the plural you. They suit audiences in Spain and learners taught Castilian. For Mexico, Colombia, Argentina, the US and other markets, open the dialect page for that country in the list above.
Write them the way a reader in Spain expects: a comma for decimals, a point or a space for thousands, and the day before the month. A time can be 18:30 or las seis y media de la tarde. Preview a line with a figure before you generate, and spell out any number that is read the wrong way.
