Bahraini Arabic is the Gulf dialect of an island that lived from the sea, and pearling words still colour it: نوخذة for a ship's captain, غوص for the diving season. It differs from Standard Arabic in sound and in daily words. Choose it when the listener is Bahraini and the message is local, such as a shop, a bank branch or a tour.
Bahrain has two long-standing speech communities, usually called Arab and Baharna, and they differ in vowels and in some everyday words. A script written for village listeners may not suit Riffa or Muharraq, and the reverse. For a mixed audience, keep the wording simple and ask a Bahraini colleague to read it. Spelling is not fixed, so set any stubborn word in the pronunciation dictionary.
Manama is a banking centre, so customer messages often mix in English terms such as app or OTP. Keep those in Latin letters and preview them. For the Formula 1 weekend at Sakhir or National Day on 16 December, write dates as words.

The three share a lot, including وايد for a lot and الحين for now. Bahraini stands out in its vowels and in the split between Arab and Baharna speech. A Kuwaiti or Qatari listener follows it easily but can tell it is Bahraini.
Usually not. Ministries, banks and hospitals in Bahrain write formal notices in Standard Arabic, and listeners expect that register for rules and health advice. Dialect suits awareness campaigns, social videos and friendly reminders. One option is a Standard Arabic notice with a short dialect clip beside it.
