“…an impressive natural-like array of voices and great customer support.”

Qatari Arabic mixes the Bedouin speech of the peninsula with the coastal speech of pearl divers, and it sits close to Bahraini and Emirati. Compared with Standard Arabic, the qaf is usually a g, so قهوة sounds like gahwa, and many k sounds become ch. Choose it for Qatari brands, heritage events and community clips where the voice should sound local.
Write those sounds deliberately. Standard spelling such as كبير may be read the Standard way, while چبير shows the ch Qataris use. The ending for you, said to a woman, works the same way: عليچ rather than عليك. This kind of spelling is informal, so test both and save a stubborn word in the pronunciation dictionary.
Most people living in Qatar are expatriates, so many Doha ads use Standard Arabic or English. A Qatari voice signals a message from Qataris to Qataris: National Day on 18 December, National Sport Day in February, or a family business in Al Wakrah. Evening greetings such as مساكم الله بالخير suit those scripts well.

Choose Qatari when the audience is Qatari and the tone is personal: a heritage event, a local brand or a community message. Choose Standard Arabic for Doha's many Arab residents from elsewhere, and for formal notices. Unsure? Write both and compare them here.
In some ways. Many Qatari families trace their roots to central Arabia, so parts of the vocabulary feel familiar to Saudis. Coastal life added words shared with Bahrain and the Emirates. A Saudi follows a Qatari script easily, but the ch sounds mark it as Gulf speech.
