Egyptian Arabic, or Masri, is heard far beyond Egypt, because Cairo films, songs and series have played across the region for decades. Two sounds give it away: ج is a hard g, so جميل is gameel, and in Cairo ق usually becomes a glottal stop, so قلب sounds like 'alb. Choose it for a friendly ad or a YouTube explainer aimed at Egypt, and keep official text in Standard Arabic.

Egyptian grammar differs from fusha in audible ways. The present takes a b- prefix, as in بيكتب (he writes), and the future takes ه, as in هيكتب. The demonstrative follows the noun, البيت ده (this house), and negation wraps the verb, ما بيحبش. A Standard form left in the script sounds stiff when read aloud.

Egyptian signs and newspapers often use Arabic-Indic digits such as ١٢٣, while many writers online type 123; keep one style per script. English words like موبايل are part of daily speech. Give any brand name that comes out wrong a fixed reading in the pronunciation dictionary.

Yes. Egyptian Arabic has 1 male and 1 female voices. Use the gender filter above the voice list and try a few with your own first line.

Yes, on a paid plan: paid plans include commercial rights, and the Free plan is for personal and evaluation use only. Starter costs $5 for the first month, then $19 a month.

Preview the line first. If a number, date or abbreviation comes out wrong, write it the way it should be spoken, or add it to the pronunciation dictionary, which is on every plan. One entry fixes that word across the whole project.

Egyptian films, music and television have been watched across the Arab world for generations, so most Arabic speakers understand Masri even if they never speak it. That suits light, friendly content. A strictly local campaign in the Gulf or the Maghreb still feels closer in its own dialect.

Use the normal letters. Egyptian readers say ج as g and the Cairo ق as a glottal stop without special marks. Some casual writers spell قهوة as أهوة to show the sound. Keep one habit per script and play the line to compare.
